Today, we all have places to go and people to see. So I’m going to cut you a break and give you a quick read on how to effectively manage and save your time –because we’re all trying to make it big right? But that’s not going to happen without knowing how to make the most of your time, because ladies I’m sure I won’t be the first or last to tell you this but, TIME IS $$$!!
1. Keep a Planner/Agenda etc.
Ladies, I can’t express enough how this gesture alone has saved my life. Your busy, and you think you can keep everything juggled in your head, but why juggle if you don’t have to? Keeping things written down in a planner is the best way to keep track of not only your week, but if you’re a young professional, I know from first hand experience that sometimes, my days will be planned out to the minute. So do yourself a favour, spend the extra five bucks and invest in a planner!
2. Make To-Do Lists
You wouldn’t believe how much clearer and easier your tasks may seem once you prioritize the things you need to get done. It’s just like the planner, once you stop juggling things around in your head and get them on paper, it’s easier to visualize what you need to get done and when.
3. Set That Alarm!
I know some of us have night jobs, so I’m not saying set your alarm for the crack of dawn; consider even setting an alarm for your midday catnap just so you don’t oversleep. But seriously, you’d be amazed with how much you can get done with those two or three (or even one) extra hours.
4. Plan Financially
You might be thinking, what do my finances have to do with my time managemet, well GURL Let.Me.Tell.You. It has everything to do with your time. Remember when I said time is guap? Well here it is. When you start planning out your days, I’m sure you may notice you have a few activities that are going to start adding up very quickly. If you can find an activity or two that you can say no to, not only will you be saving money but you’ll also be saving your very precious time.
And that’s it girlies, now go ahead and make use of your beautiful day!
